Mr. Kelly,

I find your e-mail just a bit disingenuous.  Rep Williamson has attempted to bring about what many in WW consider to be the cure for what is wrong with this town.  Unfortunately, due to what is in my opinion, legislative incompetence, Mr. Williamson has yet to put forth legislation that will actually pass, i.e. that is in conformance with the RI Constitution!

As for your assertion “It's also nice to see someone work to bring money and jobs into the state of RI and in particular the Town of West Warwick.” Really? I think that if you care to actually ask the question instead of swallowing everything that is told to you by the political hacks in WW, you will find that the Town actually paid Rep Williamson's law firm, Inman, Tourgee & Williamson, approx $300,000 over the past two fiscal years.  Is it any wonder that he was made a partner in the firm? Nice work if you can get it.

My advice to you Mr. Kelley, just keep paying your taxes on time. You get what you deserve… Trouble is, most taxpayers in WW can't afford it!

By the way, what did Mr. Williamson’s “investigation” into Ms DiMasi’s failure to pay her taxes reveal?  Oh yes, now I remember, wasn’t it something like - I know she didn’t do anything wrong?  And for this you keep paying some of the highest taxes in the State?

By the way, several weeks ago wasn’t Mr. Williamson on the Dan Yorke show commenting about a story in the Projo in which he allegedly tried to “strong arm” several members of the WW school committee into hiring his brother as a coach?  I also seem to recall a comment about a fundraiser he was having that week. I wonder what he intends to do with the money raised since the talk around town is that he does not intend to run again in 06?  I guess he’ll return it to the donors? Seems like the ethical thing to do, don’t you agree?"
One more point of order Mr Kelly, as a member of the General Assembly, Mr Williamson works for everyone in this state. That is why concerned citizens such as Mr Meyer take issue with his behavior and legislative goals. He has wasted enough time and tax dollars pursuing this pipedream... Get over it!"
